At Phonely, we’re thrilled to share that we were honoured as finalists at the prestigious British Business Excellence Awards this year! While we didn’t take home the top prize, just being among such outstanding businesses was an achievement we’re incredibly proud of. Our fellow finalist and eventual winner, Content Guru, certainly deserved the spotlight for their impressive work within their industry. We extend them our heartfelt congratulations for their success.

The British Business Excellence Awards Results: A night to remember!

The evening was one for the books! Hosted by Lloyds Bank, the event celebrated innovation and excellence across the UK. Britain’s Got Talent star, opera singer Innocent Masuku, opened the event on a high note. She was followed by Countryfile’s Anita Rani, who brought her warmth and energy to presenting the awards. Attendees were treated to inspiring insights from renowned chef Tom Kerridge, who spoke about his journey to building his Michelin-starred restaurant, The Hand & Flowers. Another highlight was watching the incredible Trinny Woodall accept the Inspiration Award. Consequently, a well-deserved recognition for her work in empowering others.

Celebrating innovation & a bright future

As finalists for the Innovation Award, we were recognised for our flagship product, CallGuard. Our service protects vulnerable individuals across the UK from the growing threat of scam calls. It was rewarding to see our mission acknowledged on such a prestigious platform. As a matter of fact, it has only strengthened our resolve to continue innovating and protecting our customers.

Motivated to do even more

Losing out on the award has not disheartened us—instead, it has fueled our commitment to do even better. This experience has inspired us to push our technology further, expand our services, and deepen our commitment to safeguarding our customers. We’re excited about the journey ahead and are brainstorming ideas on how we can enhance CallGuard to offer even more comprehensive protection.
