I have just received a call from this number purporting to be an energy company with information about our energy supply, and could I confirm that I am the owner. Male voice with an “estuarine” accent. When challenged that it was a scam and an illegal call, hung up without further comment.

Asked about energy use and saying they are working in my area which has the highest cost in the country. They are working WITH the energy companies offering help reduce bills and free insulation . No outlay needed!! Asked what age group I was and when I told him neither the phone went down! I’m feel quite vulnerable as I didn’t do what I usually do - to say goodbye BEFORE HE STARTED
