Threatening scam phone call, they said that I can forward my benefit money to them every month rather than giving them my bank details

Another scam number misleading you to agree getting a smartmeter. If smartmeters are so wonderful, why would they need a new phone number every week? Just about everybody I know who fell for it tells me they have problems with the meter and if anything, they PAID MORE then with old meter, certainly not less.
