This is a scam. Never hand over details if you are not expecting a call/have an issue/they can't provide relevant information about your account. I answered and they didn't ask the name of who I was, and they then told me that I can get 30% off their tesco bill. I said I'm not with Tesco, I'm with o2. They said both companies have merged and all I need to do to attain the 30% is verify details and give them my email. I told the woman that she hasn't asked my name, she isn't looking at an account and it is a scam. She told me it wasn't a scam and they need to verify my account, not acknowledging the fact the caller didn't have my name or any other details.
