keep calling on a million different last four digit numbers including this one and absolutely scam caller, unsure which third party website sold my number annoyingly
They said they're from Currys/pc world and were trying to upgrade my phone package, as soon as you challenge as to who they are the call gets disconnected. This is the 3rd time over 2 weeks this number has called. I have block number.
They told me they were from Carphone Warehouse and offered a cheap deal. But it felt very off, and they couldn't prove they were legit.
answered but they hand up
No one was talking when I answered, just pure silence. This is definitely spam.
Claiming to be from Currys PC World but when questioned, they just hung up. Feels like a fraud attempt.
Picked up and the person just hung up. Really annoying! No idea what they want.
Kept receiving silent calls from this number. It’s really bothering!
They said they are from Currys, offering to upgrade my phone contract but didn’t provide any proof, so I blocked them.
Someone spoke in a heavy accent claiming to offer an upgrade. Sounded very suspicious, definitely not genuine.
Said they were from currys carphone warehouse or something. Call quality was really bad. Called to say I could get a cheaper deal on my mobile phone contract. Offered sim-only £7/month for 50GB, and staying with my current network and provider, and said they would email me, but no emails arrived so they hung up and said they would call later.
Answered, and it was just silent for a while before they hung up. Getting tired of these calls.
Silence on the line, then heavy breathing before hanging up. Super creepy, I blocked the number.
An Indian-sounding person claimed to be from O2. The whole thing sounded fishy, so I end the call.
Claimed to be my mobile provider but didn't sound legit at all. I hung up immediately.
Answered the phone but it got disconnected right away. Definitely spam calls.
Answered the phone but no one was talking so I hung up. Possible Spam
Tried calling back this number and got a message saying it does not exist. Total scam!
Called pretending to be from Currys. They tried to push some dubious upgrade deals. Definitely a scam!
picked up no answer, generally dont pick up unknow contacts but almost heavy breathing
Told me they were 02 and wanted to discount the rest of my contract, sounded very dodgy so hung up
Claimed to be from my mobile provider.
Likely reconnaissance for later spam calls. You answer, you confirm your number has someone who will answer. I to got silence when I answered and then the caller immediately hung up. Probable robot caller just to confirm number is live. Expect more calls from dodgy sounding call centres trying to offer you a better deal on mobile phones.
I answered the call - just silence, although it seemed like someone was there, then they hung up! Dodgy!!
I received a call from them. Generally, I don't pick up calls from unknown numbers unless I expect someone to call like Amazon, etc. As soon as I picked up there was silence as they were not mute. Most likely spam.
Hung up as soon as I answered
It was a silent call.
Silent call
Claiming to be currys pc world
This number does not exist if you call it back. Indian person from Carphone, re: updaitng contracts. Clearly Phishing / false - AVOID / DENYLIST
