Same as above complaints , asked to view car for sale tomorrow but then insists on a EV report , and would not accept I wasn’t paying for one , I suggested he bought a report but that didn’t suit him , not sure where the scam was going to happen but I’ve blocked him now .

They txted about my bike for sale and asked if it need any repairs, I asked if your interested, call me...(he) said that its easier for him to txt as he is busy and his wife saw the adv' and (they) will give him the number... I answered him saying im busy and i can still talk and asked who are "they"? Ive had scam texts like this the other day too.

SMS from person claiming to be interested in motorbike for sale. Asking to buy CLP record from carlab portal.

SMS from person claiming to be interested in car for sale. Number didn’t pick up when dialled. Typical hallmarks of scammer, poor grammar. Asking for our name, claimed to be in Cheltenham. Then requested an NGC report “next generation car” report. This doesn't exist. Ceased communication and blocked number. Scammer. BEWARE.

Agreed this is a scam caller. Calls asking if your car is still available. Then asks for a car report before viewing. Avoid this caller.

If you are selling a car privately this number will text you asking you to download a CLR (carlab report) for £30 with a promise of buying your car if it checks out! They will not turn up or speak to you on the phone. Had it with a couple of sales now. Beware scammer!! Not sure if they just want you to buy the report or whether they are collecting card details but carlab has horrendous reviews!
