Caller (with south Asian accent) said she was from Microsoft, that scammers were continually using my computer, so I must put in a lengthy code she gave me for her to block them. If not Microsoft will have to cut off my computer. She was very insistent that it would be cut off unless I did what she said!
Of course I did not! Clearly a serious scam, aiming to take over my computer. She thought my name was someone who had ot lived here for the past 30 years, if ever.
