24April2025....this is just another one of the numbers that have called me today (Glasgow area) re automated confirmation of payments to Amazon £199 and Zoom £899 ...bank official advises caution and be vigilant...exactly same content of call despite varying numbers..

25 April 2025..live in Glasgow area and have had 5 calls last week and 3 so far this week from this number 07989354556 plus 07990706568 plus others, all with the same message of 2 items presented to the bank for payment one from Amazon for £199 and second from Zoom for £899 and requesting confirmation or press any key for more information. I have contacted any banks I have dealings with and they all advise BEWARE OF SCAMMERS. The bank also advised that the scammers work from a list of possible targets who are deemed VULNERABLE. I am 80 and a possible target because of my age..so my friends beware, do not 'press any buttons' and call your bank on a separate phone line to register your concerns
