Bank scam. More convincing in the uk becauae they are English and number shows as from london. I had a text informing me of a fraudulent transaction attempt on my bank account- except i don't have an account with the bank they named (barkleys). I ignored it, few days later had multiple voicemails from 'my bank' (didnt name the bank) claiming to be from fraud department. Sounded convincing enough (being native English speakers) so I called the number at literally 10am and it was so obvious that I woke the guy up I actually laughed ha! I was exhausted so juat called the number back that I had voicemails of- but even aleep deprived I wouldn't give my details out.
My call clearly woke him up- at 10am 😂 and he was that dazed he introduced himself as working for a completely different bank than the one I was calling to let them know their contacting me was an error 😂 I asked him "oh you sound asleep, have i woke you up" and he replied "yeah but it's okay. Can i get your details "
