Man with N London accent. "Could I talk to Mrs XXXX". I said who's calling. "I'm Domestic Appliance, you have taken out a Beko dishwasher insurance." 'I said yes! "Can I have your full name". I said no. There was a pause then he said "Right". and put the phone down.

This was actually domestic and general and are not scammers but are very persistent with calling everyday so I can see how it would come across as fishy but I added new cover and it appeared in dom&general account so perfectly safe.

I think this is Domestic & General appliance insurance company that Argos uses. For the past two weeks, they call my mobile maybe twice a day, every week day. The issue is that they either ring for literally two seconds and then stop before I get a chance to answer (honestly, not like I want to answer most of the time) or they cut the phone after I answer. Because of this, I am considering these to be nuisance calls, and I will have to block their number now. They can email or write to me if they need to inform me of anything important.

Called, trying to sell extended warranty from Legal & General, when we already have the manufactruers warranty on a 1 month old purchase. I declined and was then asked what I would do if it was outside that warranty and have I read the T&C's... very persistant! I am sure Legal & General are nothing to do with Indesit, so how come they have my mobile number???

It's domestic and general although they do tend to be harassing a lot to cover more products. I have all appliances covered by them but now they want me to take drainage and roof cover which my home insurance already covers. You need to opt out of their marketing calls list to stop getting these calls from them
