A foreign woman (Beth Taylor?) with a poor command of English asked for my late mother in connection with insurance. I asked where she was calling from she said that she was unable to tell me. I called her a scammer and a scummer. and threatened to call the police.

As above person claimed i had taken out a 5 year protection policy -first 2 year s for free but that final 3 years at £300 + now due. very persistent and harassing. was told that they would be taking payment today.

Insisted that I had signed a 5 year TV protection agreement, first 2 years free, but payment now due. Kept insisting that their “finance department” would take the payment. I asked them to send me the paperwork - won’t hold my breath!!

A person with a strong Caribbean or African accent phoned, claiming that we had set up a 5 year contract for some home insurance, with the 1st. 2 years at fixed price now having expired. When questioned, the called rang off without further comment.
