The caller - Chris - claimed to be from a company that was doing energy surveys in our area (York) and claimed that mine was one of the few remaining properties that had not had a '"free" survey done. When I told him our insulation was up to scratch, he went on to say but that it could nevertheless be "hiding damp!" I had to terminate the call by telling forcefully that I was "not interested." I suspect a scam to get a look around one's property for valuables, etc.

Even though I’m on the TPS, I’m still getting these persistent calls about loft insulation and energy efficiency. It’s quite frustrating to see that my preference to not be contacted isn't being respected. After a bit of digging, I found they’re using multiple numbers to get through, including 02038960230, 02038960231, 02038960232, 02038960233, 02038960234, 02038960235, 02038960236, 02038960237, 02038960238, and 02038960239. It feels like a never-ending stream of calls!

Energy savings through loft insulation? I doubt it, especially with the way they keep calling me.
