Asked if I was Mr Ad-ree-an Collmuir - well I'm female and that's not anywhere near my husbands name. Caller was foreign, poss Indian sounding, and I said that they were at work. She said Ok and hung up! I guess its another scam..... - caller: Who knows?!

Indian sounding caller who asked if I was Mrs. (I am male). I said it was unlikely. Said it was a courtesy call and he was checking my washing machine was working. Told him it was none of his business and he repeated his question. Gave same answer then he hung up. - caller: Unknown

Caller wanted to know if I had a Hotpoint washing machine. Just hang up and don't bother to wate your time with them - unless you want to waste their time. Checking the number on 1471 tells you it is 'not recognised'. - caller: ?
